Judge declares plaintiffs in Nashua spending cap suit have no standing

NASHUA — The city’s spending cap violates state law and is unenforceable, according to a judge who has dismissed a lawsuit brought against the city by two former aldermen.

Hillsborough County Superior Court Judge Charles Temple ruled Tuesday that because the city’s spending cap does not contain an override provision, it cannot be enforced. *| Keep Reading at the Union Leader
