Granted, there are few examples of people being convicted of these laws, and they may prove to be hard to enforce, but are they unnecessary? Are they contrary to the public good or just to public opinion? And what are the consequences of leaving the law on the books for extreme cases? | Read More at nhmagazine.com

Local NH Tax Rate on the Rise
I don’t know about you, but for me $30 per thousand is a psychological breaking point. Sandown’s property tax rate this year is $30.78. We’ve outstripped even the notorious town of Danville which has a comparably attractive $28.25 per thousand this year. | Keep Reading at timberlaneandsandown

Bob Elliott (Salem) and Jim Grenier (Lempster) voted against the bill. | Keep Reading at School Choice for NH

Stocking the Toolbox: Get Ready for Next Legislative Session
I recently enjoyed the hospitality of Seacoast pro-lifers who asked me to join Rep. Kurt Wuelper to give a presentation about communicating with legislators. We covered social media, phone calls, letters, and the oldest social medium of all: one-on-one conversation.
Lots to unpack on that topic, for sure – and it was great to meet people ready to put into practice what they were hearing. |Keep Reading at Leaven for the Loaf

The difference between Libertarians and Statist/Progressive Totalitarians
I’ve copied the full Letter (by Jilletta Jarvis) after the jump if you are so inclined (go ahead, you know you want to!). What was surprising was not its content but with the vehemence those commenters I would place in the Statist / Democrat / Progressive / Socialist / Communitarian side of the aisle with which they ripped into her for absolutely no reason and no evidence with which to back up their vitriol. | More at GraniteGrok.com
