[Update – He already signed it.]
An important parental rights measure has passed the New Hampshire House and Senate and is now on Governor Sununu’s desk. House Bill 103 awaits his signature – and he is under pressure to block the bill.
Call or email the Governor today to give him the encouragement he needs to sign HB 103!
HB 103 would require school districts to give two weeks’ notice and access to classroom materials for subjects pertaining to human sexuality. The bill would allow parents to make informed decisions regarding their children’s education.
That’s not sitting well with some well-funded interest groups that are pushing for a veto. Don’t let those out-of-touch lobbyists drown out your voice.
Call the Governor’s office at 603-271-2121 or email him today. Your brief message of encouragement to the Governor will help push HB 103 over the finish line!
- HB 103 is a parental rights measure.
- HB 103 would not require any school or teacher to change curriculum to accommodate one student.
- HB 103 would allow parents to opt-out of inappropriate material for their own children.
- HB 103 will increase cooperation and communication between parents and educators
- Legislation like this was vetoed by former Governor Hassan. Governor Sununu can set a new course that’s better for students and parents.
Once Governor Sununu signs the bill, Cornerstone will let you know so that you can send him your thanks.
Thank you for your efforts! YES on HB 103!
