A judge has ruled in favor of attorney Alex Walker in his defamation lawsuit against a mortgage broker who in posts on an electronic billboard has repeatedly accused Walker and other local business leaders of criminal activity.

Superior Court Judge N. William Delker said that Michael Gill has not provided any evidence showing any validity to the controversial posts.

“Gill has failed to meet his burden of proof as to the defense of truth as there is no evidence to support any plausible inference that the plaintiff engaged in the conduct alleged by Gill,” Delker wrote in a ruling filed last week. Keep Reading…
