School Choice Legislation: House Votes on ‘Town Tuitioning’

On Thursday, June 1st the New Hampshire House of Representatives will vote on Senate Bill 8 (SB 8), one of this year’s town tuitioning bills. The House Education Committee amended it with amendment #1786 in a 13 to 6 vote with all Republicans and two Democrats, Representative Barbara Shaw (Hillsborough 6) and Representative Linda Tanner (Sullivan 9), supporting the bill. Paris Mayor Threatens Ban Of ‘Exclusively Black’ Feminazi Festival

Feminazi groups in France have planned an “Afro-Feminist” festival for the end of July, at La Generale, a public facility in Paris, but there was a twist – many areas of the festival would be for black women only, with other sections reserved for “black men and women from minority groups that experience racial discrimination.” In other word a pity party for the poor little victims to wallow in their hurt feelings and denounce whites and colonialism. Hooksett police: Keep your golf carts off town, state roads

HOOKSETT — Police are reminding residents that driving golf carts on town or state roads is illegal.

Chief Janet Bouchard was featured in a public service video posted on the department’s social media pages reminding residents of the law after an anonymous letter was sent to the Town Council about the matter. The letter said minors are often seen driving in a neighborhood.

“Since people will be warned for it, our tolerance will be low for it,” Bouchard said. More…

Hampstead NH Police Issue Annoyed Press Release After Pot Arrest

HAMPSTEAD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire police department has issued a public service announcement after a man was arrested with marijuana in his car.

Hampstead police said in a press release on Monday, “as a public service announcement – it is illegal to possess recreational marijuana in New Hampshire, even if you only ‘smoke it in Massachusetts.'” More…

UC-Santa Barbara students allege bar questioning their IDs is racist

Some students at the University of California Santa Barbara believe a local bar acted with racial animus after it challenged their forms of identification.

Oscar Zarate and Stephanie Periban allege Giovanni’s Pizza was “insulting” for its employees’ ambivalence over the IDs, and the UCSB Campus Democrats claim the bar “enforced racist and deeply problematic ID policies.”

The Democrats group also is encouraging a boycott of the establishment…More.
