Hooksett police: Keep your golf carts off town, state roads

HOOKSETT — Police are reminding residents that driving golf carts on town or state roads is illegal.

Chief Janet Bouchard was featured in a public service video posted on the department’s social media pages reminding residents of the law after an anonymous letter was sent to the Town Council about the matter. The letter said minors are often seen driving in a neighborhood.

“Since people will be warned for it, our tolerance will be low for it,” Bouchard said. More…
