Former law enforcement professional Eddie Edwards on Wednesday became the first Republican to announce a candidacy for the 1st District U.S. House seat, promising to run a positive campaign and, if elected in 2018, to serve with integrity.
In a statement provided first to WMUR and to be released generally later Wednesday, Edward, 49, of Dover, said, “New Hampshire deserves a leader in Congress who will fight for us.
