Retired generals, admirals thank Trump for banning transgender troops

More than a dozen retired generals and admirals have signed a letter to President Trump thanking him for his announced policy to ban transgender people from the armed forces.

“We write today to express our gratitude to you for making the extremely courageous decision to reverse President [Barack] Obama’s transgender social experiment,” the conservative retired flag officers wrote. “There may be an enormous amount of vitriol directed at you for making this policy correction, but please know that overturning this policy may have done more in the long-term to save the culture and war-fighting capacity of the U.S. military than perhaps any other military policy you will adopt as president.” | More…

Federal Judge mocks opponents of Trump voter commission

A federal judge Tuesday shot down the latest attempt to derail President Trump’s voter integrity commission, saying there wasn’t enough evidence that Americans’ rights are being violated by the request for voters’ information.

District Judge Royce C. Lamberth even seemed to chide the lawyers for Common Cause, an activist group that sued the commission, when one of them claimed they fear Mr. Trump will find a way to get at voters’ data even if states refuse.

“That’s hard to keep a straight face,” Judge Lamberth said. | More…

CONCORD, N.H. – Uncertainty in the health insurance market can hit New Hampshire consumers in the pocketbook, and that’s why local advocates say they are on “sabotage” watch over declared efforts by President Donald Trump to “let Obamacare fail.”

Apparently still angry over the failure of Republican lawmakers to pass a new health care bill, the president tweeted this weekend: “If a New HealthCare Bill is not approved quickly, BAILOUTS for insurance companies and BAILOUTS for members of Congress will end very soon!”

Zandra Rice Hawkins, executive director of Granite State Progress, says attention needs to be paid to efforts by Trump and the U.S. House to undermine the Affordable Care Act. More…

More On Lil’ Debbie And The Pakistani… Spies

This GrokClip from Tucker Carlson Tonight, hosted by Laura Ingraham last Thursday, adds depth to the degree of perfidy of DWS and the house Dems who allowed the Awan brothers to rob them blind while apparently stealing sensitive information.

Why Does N.H. Still Require Annual Car Inspections?

“Why do we put up with the onerous yearly auto inspection? Half of the states, including California, don’t have it. And their accident rate isn’t high.”  …

So, first thing: It’s actually more than half of states that lack an annual inspection. In the last few decades, a growing number of states have scrapped their annual inspection programs— deciding they’re too costly, too complicated or don’t seem to have a clear impact on road safety. | More…
