Facebook bans NH white nationalist’s accounts over hate speech
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) — Facebook has banned the Facebook and Instagram accounts of a white nationalist who attended the rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that ended in deadly violence.
Facebook spokeswoman Ruchika Budhraja tells The Associated Press that the profile pages of Christopher Cantwell have been removed as well as a page connected to his podcast. Cantwell was featured in a Vice News documentary about the rally and its aftermath. | More…

200 New Hampshire businesses to split $7 million in 2017 R and D tax credits
Not too many more businesses applied for New Hampshire’s research and development tax credit this year than last, and they didn’t ask for that much more, but they sure are getting more – about three times as much.
Thanks to the state’s lifting of the R&D credit cap from $2 million to $7 million, some 200 businesses will share $7 million, or 92.4 percent of the total $7.6 million that they asked for. Compare that to 2016, when 193 businesses applied for $7.4 million in credits and got back $2 million, or 27.14 percent. | More…

People suffering from chronic pain can now get medical marijuana in New Hampshire, thanks to a law extending the treatment to cover new conditions that takes effect this week. Later in the month, people with post-traumatic stress disorder will also qualify.
