Senate Rejects Assisted Suicide

This attempt to establish an “end-of-life study committee” would have been a step toward an assisted suicide law for New Hampshire, as the sponsor made clear in her speech introducing the bill. This vote is a statement that New Hampshire does not want to go down that road. |Read More at Cornerstone

A bill that would have hiked the minimum wage in New Hampshire to as much as $15 per hour by 2021 has been defeated in the state Senate.

My Response to Eagle Tribune Reporting Error

n “BOE Reverses January Decision about Green Complaint,” published on Feb 21, Kristen Giddings reported that subsequent to the Board of Education’s Jan. 11 decision in my favor, SAU 55 filed an appeal. In fact, SAU 55 never filed an appeal.

Any reader of your article would infer from your reporting that the BOE’s action to rescind their Jan 11 decision and issue a new decision was as a result of SAU 55’s appeal. This is not true. |More at timberlaneandsandown

Today, the New Hampshire Senate began a public debate about reauthorizing Obamacare Medicaid expansion. Since 1991, New Hampshire has been funding a large portion of its general fund from a Medicaid scam loophole. We have since expanded the program and are now proposing to deceptively use the opioid crisis to expand and make more permanent our 27-year orgy of fiscal irresponsibility. | Keep Reading…

Pine Tree Ramblings – Vol 5

Church and School.  Two places where a lot of shootings take place.  Both are relatively gun-free zones, one mandated by law, the other by sense.  Although, there are no gun-free zones wherever I am.

Anyhow, two recent shootings have occurred in these places and have something else in common: Dropped Balls and Missed Opportunities. | Keep Reading at GraniteGrok.com
