State purchases 672 acres to create wildlife management area

RINDGE — New Hampshire Fish and Game now owns about 672 acres of land in Rindge and Fitzwilliam that it plans to call the Pearly Lake Wildlife Management Area.

Fish and Game purchased the property for $765,000 from a private land owner about two weeks ago. The majority of the land sits in Rindge and is named after Pearly Lake in Rindge, but is accessible via roads in Fitzwilliam — Ingalls Road and the Class VI portion of Bowers Hill Road and Old Rindge Road in Fitzwilliam. |More at New Hampshire.com
