I can accept H.R.38 with some reservation of what 11 hour amendments may be added restricting what started as an acceptable bill. Also in the bill’s terminology of concealed firearms and the sunset of concealed handguns to how it pertain to state laws defining concealed firearm and concealed handgun.
People should be aware that one will still need to know all the laws of every state they will transit and that what ammunition is protected. I read it such as NJ ammo ban does not apply to ammo defined in § 926D.(e) In subsection (a): (2)
§ 926D.(e) In subsection (a): (2) The term ‘handgun’ includes any magazine for use in a handgun and any ammunition loaded into the handgun or its magazine.
