Columbus Day is the kickoff to the fall tourist season. Numbers are expected to be up at least 5 percent, with close to 10 million visitors expected.

This weekend is the third-busiest travel weekend of the year, with much of the traffic headed north, where foliage is really starting to pop. | More…
