NORTH HAMPTON – State highway workers got a big surprise when they sucked up a handgun and a holster while cleaning out a catch basin on Route 1.
The unusual find was made Friday and immediately reported to police, who are now investigating to learn more about the gun and whether it was involved in a crime.
