What if I’m Wrong About Everything?

What if I’m wrong about everything I know about life and about God and the Bible? …

If it is not true, millions of people have shared an experience that cannot be fully explained by natural means. We have felt an energy during worship that is like nothing else on earth. |More at The Darling Princess.com

Thomas Sowell Has The Right Of It

As Thomas Sowell has stated,

Much of the social history of the Western world, over the past three decades, has been a history of replacing what worked with what sounded good.

Unfortunately for us, that is all too true. Think about it. For those of us who are of an age, we remember when things worked and worked well. And by things I mean things like education, social organizations, local government, and a whole host of other societal components. | More at Weekend Pundit

Charming Keene official invites me to public meeting, right before I get ejected

‘ Ian Freeman of FreeKeeene.com reports that “Upon visiting with one of the college directors in his office…I was told that not even KSC students may hand out fliers on campus!”

He’s referring to Keene State College, but the reported conversation happened in 2012. It takes a while for the stars to align, but I keep this in mind six years. Eventually, I get a chance to question officials about it before a “public” meeting.’ |RidleyReport

‘Mistakes Are Made’

I’m about ready to propose a new law urging all elected officials to dispense with the phrases “mistakes are made” and “mistakes were made.”

At the 2PM meeting Friday at the Town Office, to discuss the current mess over the library-loan proposal, Carla Lootens said, “Mistakes are made.” | Keep Reading at Tuftonboro.net

Fight Nice Boys

I have an issue I didn’t have time to write about when it happened. It is still a nice look into NH’s Deep State.

This August 20, 2017, there appeared an op-ed in the Concord paper from David Scanlon of the NH Secretary of State’s Office, explains how NH was going to provide President Trump’s election integrity commission with documents the commission requested. Scanlon takes issue with the NH ACLU lawsuit that followed the request. | More at CNHT

Fly The Bernie Skies

If you want to make a liberal laugh out loud simply mention illegal voters coming to New Hampshire – in buses. They all know from watching Comedy Central that no such thing happens. Even some leftist formerly on the Federal Elections Commission got into the game of bus-denial and was denouncing President Trump for mentioning it – without proof.  | Keep Reading at CNHT

How Medicaid Expansion Immediately Raids the General Fund

The bill reauthorizing Medicaid expansion passed the state Senate on Thursday when half of the 14 Republicans joined all 10 Democrats in voting to extend the Obamacare entitlement program for five years. This is why the #Headdesk Twitter hashtag was invented.

One of the Republican selling points was that the bill pays for Medicaid expansion while protecting state taxpayers.

It doesn’t, though. | More at the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy

New Hampshire Senate OKs measure to extend Medicaid expansion under uncertain Obamacare

After a couple of hours of debate, the Senate has voted to move forward with Senate Bill 313, which would rewrite and reauthorize one of the key state-controlled provisions of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, in New Hampshire. Where previous legislation had carried two-year terms, SB313 sets the terms for the Medicaid expansion in New Hampshire for five years. | More at NH Watchdog
