New York Times Posts Misleading White House Photo With New England Patriots

The [New England] Patriots went to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory. The New York Times posted a sided by side photo comparing their visit from 2015 when Obama was President to the 2017 visit with Trump. They used a misleading photo to make it look like Trump had no support and no one showed up. In reality, approximately the same amount of people showed up for Trump, however; some people were on the South Lawn when the photo was taken. More…

Nashua Democrat with HRA Score of 2.3% Declares She is a Republican

Hillsborough District 30 New Hampshire Democrat Mariellen MacKay has changed her party affiliation. From now on she’d like to be called a Republican. But there’s a problem. The New Hampshire House Republican Alliance (NHHRA) which tracks legislators votes based on their adherence to the Republican Party platform reports that of the 43 votes they have followed in the 2017 session, MacKay, who cast a vote on all of them, only voted “Republican” on one. DOJ to Sanctuary Cities: Show Compliance or Lose Funds

The letters, sent to the relevant authorities in New York City, Chicago, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Miami, Milwaukee, and the “sanctuary state” of California, makes clear that Byrne Grants, a major program by which the federal Department of Justice funds local law enforcement, will be withheld if these jurisdictions do not do their part to enforce federal immigration law.

In order to avoid losing their funding, the cities and California must provide the Justice Department documented proof of compliance with 8 USC § 1373 no later than June 30. More…
