Why do so few people care about losing their rights?

Former Exeter High counselor indicted in sexual assault

BRENTWOOD — A former Exeter High School guidance counselor has been indicted on charges she sexually assaulted a female student.

Kristie S. Torbick, 37, of Lee, was indicted this month by a Rockingham County grand jury on two counts of felonious sexual assault and two counts of misdemeanor sexual assault.

According to the indictments, the assaults allegedly occurred in Exeter and Epping on Dec. 30, 2016.

Torbick was arrested in February during an Exeter police investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct involving a student who was under 16.  More…

UNH student arrested for damaging impromptu campus artwork

It is fast becoming the University of Ne’er-do-wells and Hooligans (UNH)

DURHAM — Campus police at the University of New Hampshire say a student from Hooksett has been arrested, accused of damaging artwork outside a residence hall.

UNH Police Chief Paul Dean said in a news release that Shaan William DeJong, 19, of Hooksett, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with criminal mischief for damaging outdoor artwork in front of Stoke Hall. More…
