NH conservative groups critical of possible Obamacare rate increases

Granite State conservative groups weighed in Monday on a report in the New Hampshire Sunday News that health insurance policies through the Affordable Care Act could see high rate increases in the coming year.

“The latest premium increases under Obamacare will break many families’ budgets. The law is obviously failing working people and is doing far more harm than good. Republicans in Congress are actively working to reform our nation’s healthcare system with a plan that lowers premiums while ensuring folks have access to quality coverage,” said New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Jeanie Forrester.   More…

Atlantic Prefab moves HQ to Wilton NH

WILTON — Atlantic Prefab Inc. is moving its headquarters out of the Gate City and into a new, larger space in Wilton.

Atlantic Prefab, one of the largest manufacturers of prefabricated steel trusses and prefabricated, prefinished wall panels in New England, will complete its move to 19 Stoney Brook Drive in Wilton this week.

The company is headquartered in Nashua, but it also operates a satellite space in Penacook that has already transferred its workers to the new Wilton facility. More…

Woman calls cops worried semen in thermos might explode

Felicia Nevins called police after worrying the thermos she was using to store sperm and dry ice in for her artificial insemination could have exploded.
