NH should just say no to energy subsidies

The need for a steady, reliable supply of electricity at lower rates in New Hampshire is well established. Our power currently comes from generators throughout the region that use a variety of fuels and methods: natural gas, oil, nuclear, coal, and to a lesser extent, solar, wind, hydro, and biomass.

If capacity in New Hampshire and our neighboring states can grow, market forces will begin to push down the prices every homeowner and business owner pays to keep their lights on and equipment running. More…

A Lot More Than London Bridge is Falling Down

As I write, six members of the public are dead, and three attackers. I’m wary of weighing in as the situation is unfolding, but, though the details are always different, in the end the story is always the same. And, as I said only the other day, the reality of what is happening in Britain and Europe is that this problem was imported and that, until you stop importing it, you’re going to have more of it. Intelleftuals

I was pondering the bubble of progressive thought–the things I do for you people. It’s a tiny bubble crowded with narrow-minded busybodies who need the force of government to get others to “believe” (this actually means forced compliance) what they believe.

It occurred to me that we could use a word to define these pseudo-intellectual leftists that can be used in polite company (see what I did there) and I came up with Intelleftuals. (Colleges, press rooms, big cities, the media, and DC are filled with them.)

Guess how liberals reacted to the Islamic attack in London?

When Muslims kill people “in the name of Allah,” how do liberals react? We know they don’t equate the terrorist act with the Islamic religion. So what do they say? Because it is important to know how liberals think, I have donned a hazmat suit and dived deeply into the comments section of the HuffPo and the WaPo to enlighten you. More…

23% Think Climate Change Bigger Threat to NH Than National Debt

Postscript to House Vote On SB 66: The Naysayers

Steve MacDonald over at Granite Grok was blunter than I after the SB 66 vote in the House: “NH Democrats Defend the Right to End a Woman’s Pregnancy Against Her Will.” That’s harsh, but tough to refute, especially in view of all of the day’s roll calls on the bill – not just the main one.

As promised in my report on the SB 66 vote in the New Hampshire House, here’s the list of state representatives who made it clear that they want no part of anyone’s fetal homicide bill.  Two Republicans and one Libertarian are on the list along with 141 Democrats. More…

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire wildlife officials are continuing to warn residents about bears looking for food following encounters between bears and people in recent weeks.

More attempts to discourage filming near govt meeting (Wilton, NH)

‘ NH: The Wilton-Lyndeborough school district continues its public meeting. About ten yards from the entrance, the woman who tried to stop me from filming…has apparently come to Jesus when it comes to her opinion on cameras.’

Kimberly Morin: The humiliating truth about the NH House ‘Handmaids’

An out-of-state extreme left-wing faux feminist organization, UltraViolet, ascended upon the state house dressed as ‘handmaids’ from the book The Handmaid’s Tale in some sort of protest against mothers seeking justice for their murdered babies. These women were dressed in the full garb of the handmaids with white bonnets and red capes. As if to further mock their own selves, they even had a man dressed as one of the handmaids, beclowning themselves to all new levels. More…
