Abortion is Ground Zero for the Democrat War on Women

New Hampshire Democrats are calling Republican efforts to remove funding for abortions from the state budget an attack on women’s health.  But if we’re being honest, abortion is ground zero for the Democrat war on women.

Nothing is more anti-woman than to deny a young girl her future. Abortion takes everything she would ever be, could ever be, and snuffs it out before she can take a breath, or feel the sunshine on her face. | Source page

President Trump Should Bypass Courts on Travel Ban

“…there can be no doubt whatsoever that President Trump is acting within his legal authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act which grants him the authority to “suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants” for as long as he thinks it’s necessary. Obama made use of this power to temporarily halt Iraqi migration. So have other presidents in the past.

Immigration is in the hands of Congress and the White House. It is not up to judges to decide who can come to America.” | More…

Only Thing Not Leaked Is That POTUS Was Not Under Investigation

“Do you ever wonder why, of all the things in this investigation, the only thing that’s never been leaked is the fact that the president was not personally under investigation, despite the fact that Democrats and Republicans and the leadership of Congress knew that and have known that for weeks?” | More…

New Hampshire’s First Vending Machine to Offer Alternate Digital Currency, DASH

Portsmouth, NH – The Seacoast Repertory Theatre’s bitcoin vending machine now offers Dash. The founder of Portsmouth-based digital currency company AnyPay, Steven Zeiler, says “Dash is newer than bitcoin and is more widely used on the Seacoast. Dash offers faster confirmation times and greater privacy than bitcoin.” …

Seacoast residents have been using Dash for about a year, buying everything from soaps and salad dressing to haircuts and bacon. Some even offer a discount for customers who pay with Dash. But getting it was always a problem. More…

PITTSFIELD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire chief of police says he knows who is responsible for hanging a homemade Islamic State group flag at the town’s dam.

Eating a low carb breakfast may make you a more tolerant person

A low-carb diet might do more than affect your health – it could make you a more tolerant person. People who ate fewer carbohydrates for breakfast made more forgiving decisions in a money-sharing game they played a few hours later.

“Extreme [low-carb] diets might be influencing people’s behaviour,” says Soyoung Park of the University of Lübeck in Germany. This could be because less starchy meals tend to have more protein, which boosts levels of dopamine in the brain, involved in decision making. | More…

Sen. Dianne Feinstein: Maybe it’s time to see if Lynch colluded with Hillary

This weekend, I recounted the astonishing immaturity of California’s junior U.S. Senator Kamala Harris during several hearings in which she participated.

However, our state’s senior U.S. Senator, Dianne Feinstein, may be attempting to salvage some of California’s former reputation of producing serious politicians. Feinstein recently stated that perhaps the time has come to look into Comey’s testimony that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch asked him to minimize the nature of his investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. | More..

As Trump Turns to Infrastructure Policy, So Do Sununu, NH Legislature

While all eyes were glued to former FBI director James Comey’s testimony in Congress last week, it appears that President Donald Trump has moved on to infrastructure reform, and Republican Gov. Chris Sununu and New Hampshire lawmakers are following suit.

Last week, the White House held a series of events to promote its infrastructure policy, including proposals to streamline federal regulations, reform air traffic control, and rebuild the nation’s roads and bridges. | More…

Bitcoin Is Helping the Pot Business Get Over Its Banking Problem

Cannabis companies are turning to the world’s most popular digital currency in an effort to get rid of all that cash.

The inability to access traditional financial institutions is one of the marijuana industry’s biggest impediments. Legal cannabis was a $6 billion industry last year and is expected to grow to $50 billion by 2026, according to Cowen & Co. But because pot is illegal under federal law, big banks and credit-card companies steer clear. That’s forced most merchants to accept cash only, a logistical headache and constant security threat.

Enter bitcoin, the cryptocurrency that consists of digital coins “mined” by computers solving increasingly complex math problems. More…

Three NH Beer Festivals to Attend This July

popular internet myth says that Ben Franklin once wrote, “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” Nothing of the sort ever came from the Founding Father’s pen — but if we’re to believe the (misattributed) sentiment, then there’s a lot to be happy about in New Hampshire this month. Check out any or all of these local brewfests for a taste of the best beers in New England and beyond — and for a hoppy and happy good time. | More…
