New York Times Has A Temper Tantrum Over Neil Gorsuch

The New York Times editorial board is not happy that Neil Gorsuch is a Supreme Court justice. Recent SCOTUS rulings have included the latest associate justice to join the court. For whatever reason, instead of doing an in-depth look at how he ruled in these decisions, the Times decided instead to devote much of the time blubbering about Merrick Garland. | More…

After Phoenix Dropped Sanctuary City Status, Crime Rate Fell

When the City of Phoenix ended its sanctuary city status crime began to fall, the Arizona Police Association reports. Their statement contrasts sharply with politically motivated chiefs of police from around the country.

“When we eliminated our sanctuary policy back in 2008, we saw crime, violent and stolen vehicles fall by 25 percent,” former Phoenix police officer and Executive Director of the Arizona Police Association Levi Bolton told Fox News Channel’s William La Jeunesse in an interview. “We saw a 20-year low crime rate. When we were allowed and had the discretion to contact our federal immigration partners, crime fell drastically.” | More…

Some call for NH to walk back preambulation law

Every seven years, municipal officials are required by state law to walk their town or city’s borders to make sure boundary lines are still in place – a practice that dates back centuries.

The town line marker checks, called perambulations, are seen by some as an opportunity to get to know other town officials while enjoying the outdoors. Others see them as archaic, a waste of time and even a health liability. | More…

NHRTL: The Cost of No Exceptions

Recently, a bill came up in the New Hampshire legislature that has divided the pro-life community in our state. I am speaking about SB 66, the fetal homicide bill. On its face, that bill should have had the full backing of every pro-life person; it didn’t. On its face, that bill should have had support from both sides of the abortion debate; it didn’t. On its face, that bill should have been a no-brainer as a justice issue; it wasn’t. I’m not here to argue the merits or issues with this bill. But what this bill brought to light is the divide in our pro-life community in New Hampshire. Continue reading

NH flood damage extensive in Upper Valley

ORFORD, N.H. –Grafton County New Hampshire was one of the areas hardest hit by the torrential rains.  Multiple towns have been impacted and road repairs will be slow going.

The water has receded, but not before leaving vast destruction in its wake.  One of several roads in Orford, New Hampshire was hard hit by Saturday’s heavy rain.  “It looks like a movie up there.  The whole culvert is washed out.  The road has pushed two-feet of material down the road another couple hundred yards,” said Charles Smith, a local resident. | More…

NH Democrats: Voters, Data and Election Commission! Oh My!

On Friday, New Hampshire Representative Carol Shea-Porter wrote a letter addressed to both Governor Sununu and Secretary of State Bill Gardner requesting they do not comply with the Presidential Advisory Commission’s request for New Hampshire’s voter database. Voter information is already public information that anyone can freely review. Lists of voter information are provided to political parties who also sell that information to presidential campaigns. There is nothing ominous in the request but Democrats are claiming it’s the end of the world. | More…

Henniker: “Progress” Comes to a Progressive Town in New Hampshire

Henniker, “The Only Henniker On Earth,” a liberal enclave funded by a small college and existing for the benefit of a few wealthy, connected locals. The small town just went through an agonizing experience.

In the face of overwhelming vocal opposition from liberal transplants a Dollar General store has anchored itself smack dab – just outside of downtown.

Oh, the horrors! | More…
