Registration is open now for Vita et Veritas, Yale’s fifth annual pro-life conference, coming up October 6 & 7. The first conference was founded in 2013 by a team of students in Choose Life at Yale (CLAY). I envy this year’s attendees the opportunity to hear from the conference’s lineup of speakers. Thumbs up to all who are working for a culture of life in unlikely places. | More…

Executive Councilors Andru Volinsky and Chris Pappas’ criticism of New Hampshire’s Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut, made me wonder, are they bothered that he’s working hard to improve public education?
Volinsky and Pappas took a swing at Commissioner Edelblut for attending political functions; however, they ignored all of the good things he’s attempting to do to improve public education in New Hampshire. | More…

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire university is offering a free semester to college students displaced by Hurricane Harvey, 12 years after it helped a similar group after Hurricane Katrina.
Franklin Pierce University will provide free tuition, room and board to up to 20 students for the fall semester. The university made a similar offer in 2005 and ended up enrolling 14 students from Louisiana, including Jessica Orgeron, who said Thursday she was close to tears remembering the warm welcome she received. | More…
