A 2020 Democratic agenda is emerging

As I see it, the ante to be in the game as a serious contender for the Democratic nomination will include uniform positions on at least five issues. Specifically, any Democrat who wants to be taken seriously must support a single-payer health-care system, a $15 minimum wage, free college tuition, affirmative support for sanctuary cities along with minimal immigration controls and, finally, a contender must completely embrace Black Lives Matter and engage in a probing courtship with the radical pseudo-group the “antifa.” | More…

Refineries And Oil Rigs Shuttered By Harvey Are Coming Back Online

Oil industry infrastructure that was shut down as Hurricane Harvey ravaged the Gulf Coast of Texas is starting to come back online, Axios reports.

Eight refineries representing 11.4 percent of U.S. refining capacity are beginning procedures to restart, a process that could take weeks or months for each plant to operate at full capacity again, according to a Monday Department of Energy (DOE) report. | More…

Time For A Full-Scale Investigation — Maybe Even A Special Counsel — On Hillary, Obama, and Comey

Last week, Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) released news that they’d found evidence that in April and May 2016, then-FBI Director James Comey prepared a statement letting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton off the hook for her alleged mistreatment of classified information. As the senators noted, “As of early May 2016, the FBI had not yet interviewed Secretary Clinton. Moreover, it had yet to finish interviewing sixteen other key witnesses, including Cheryl Mills, Bryan Pagliano, Heather Samuelson, Justin Cooper and John Bentel. These individuals had intimate and personal knowledge relating to Secretary Clinton’s non-government server, including helping her build and administer the device.”

This is patently insane. |More…

Non-Binary Gender Pronoun Guide – In Case You Actually Give A ****!

We’ve been doing this long enough to know that some percentage of the audience will cave when the progressive Bandersnatch comes calling. You’ll be all haughty, repeal-Obamacare, defend the Constitution and all that until the Democrats start calling you names and suddenly you are talking about bi-partisan this and crossing the aisle that.

You know who you are, and so do we. So, with that in mind, as a public disservice, we’re sharing a copy of the University of Minnesota’s Non-Binary Pronoun guide so that when you sell out at least you will be doing that right. | More…

Rick Olson: The Dream Act Is Not Law

There is no way around the definition: Succinctly put, illegal immigration is the unauthorized entry into the Country by foreign nationals without permission from the U.S. Government.

Illegal Immigration violates immigration laws. Foreign nationals who overstay their visas are also illegal immigrants. If a person is in the United States, not being a naturalized citizen, they have violated U.S. Law. They are “crimaliens.” | More…

Dangerous Democrat Rhetoric

This past weekend, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley labeled over 15,000 patriotic Granite Staters as “extremists” and “white supremacists”.

The most alarming thing about his comments is that our Federal Delegation –despite the story gaining national attention – failed to condemn or denounce his escalation of rhetoric.  | More…

NH Anti-Hero Who Created America’s Special Forces 250 Years Ago

(…) America’s unconventional warfare tradition goes back to the 17th century, when a handful of men like Benjamin Church and John Talcott in New England formed independent scouting and raiding companies of friendly Indians and colonial soldiers to defeat a major Indian rebellion in New England called King Philip’s War (1675-76).

The most colorful and influential unconventional warrior in our colonial history, though, is unquestionably Robert Rogers (1731-95). Of Scots-Irish descent, Rogers was born in Methuen, Massachusetts, but raised on a farm on the upper reaches of the New Hampshire frontier.  | More…

Judd Gregg: The left’s theater of the absurd

The Democratic Party of New Hampshire, along with its counterparts in several other states, has dropped the name of its signature annual dinner.

Previously known as the “Jefferson-Jackson Dinner,” it will now be renamed the “Kennedy-Clinton Dinner.”

This change was done to observe the politically correct standards that have led to the censorship of history by the contemporary left.

Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson, it turns out, have just been discovered by the Democratic leadership to have been slave owners. | More…

Members of Congress scoring personal loans from political supporters

(…) Bill Shaheen, the husband of Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., has received no less than four promissory notes from Marcia Kimball, a Democratic party activist who owned a children’s clothing store in Florida.

Kimball has been a financial supporter of Shaheen since at least the New Hampshire politician’s first run for the Senate in 2002, a race that she narrowly lost. The longtime contributor issued the first of the notes to Shaheen’s husband just over a decade later, in 2013. Altogether, the notes may have initially been worth as much as $550,000. | More…
