Five Things Everyone Is Ignoring About The Russia-DNC Story

The analysis that alleged that Russia was behind the DNC server breach was carried out not by the U.S. government, but by the private security group CrowdStrike.

CrowdStrike is the sole source of this claim, with their June 2016 report, “Bears in the Midst: Intrusion into the Democratic National Committee” being the basis of the DNC’s Russian hacking allegations.

Here are five key points about CrowdStrike that the mainstream media is ignoring: | More…

Islamic State flag on New Hampshire dam raises First Amendment questions in times of terrorism

When a New Hampshire police chief pulled a homemade Islamic State flag from a wall at a dam this month, it spurred a host of questions about First Amendment rights in the era of terrorism.

Pittsfield Police Chief Jeffrey Cain said the black-and-white flag was causing alarm in the community. Chief Cain said he worked with the FBI on the matter but decided there was no crime in posting the flag and there was no evidence of a terrorist plot. | More…

Labor shortages pose challenge for humming New Hampshire economy

New Hampshire’s jobless rate remained one of the lowest in the nation in May, continuing a steady pace of job creation and moderate wage gains, but some economists see potential labor shortages taking the wind out of the state’s sails.

The state’s seasonally adjusted jobless rate last month came in at 2.9 percent, a 0.1-point increase from the previous month and about the same as it was a year ago, the New Hampshire Employment Security agency reported. Over the past year, however, the state has added 5,300 jobs, the agency said. | More…

Beyond Pro-Choice: The Solution to White Supremacy is White Abortion

This is not a joke. These people are serious.

In a progressive society, it is often white families that stand in the way of equality and justice. Systemic white supremacy depends, first and foremost, on the white family unit. When white conquerors forcefully penetrated the indigenous, egalitarian homeland of the Native peoples of America, they were quick to replicate their white societies, initiating their parasitism by establishing white plantations, headed by white fathers, submissive white mothers, and, most critically, white children, with full dominion over the enslaved and oppressed people of color that were forced to uphold these micro-fiefdoms. | More…

Sununu’s Supreme Court Pick – Even Worse Than We Feared

I previously posted about Governor Sunna’s nomination of Bobbie Hantz Marconi to the New Hampshire Supreme Court here and here.  In brief, I was of the opinion that Sununu was playing identity politics along the lines President George W. Bush played when he nominated Harriet Miers to the United States Supreme Court because Marconi has no experience in or interest in constitutional law.

I truly hate to say I told you so, given how rare and crucial supreme court appointments are, but I told you so. | More…

These Teachers Are Learning Gun Skills To Protect Students, They Say

Will arming teachers make schools safer? While that debate continues across the country, this week more than a dozen school employees from around Colorado spent three days learning advanced gun skills at a shooting range outside of Denver.

“I don’t have any children of my own,” says Kelly Blake, “so these students are my children.” Blake is an agricultural education teacher at Fleming School in Colorado’s eastern plains. She says she attended the advanced training, learning shooting accuracy, efficiency, and gun safety because she wants to make sure her students are “protected at all times.” | More…
