Law-abiding gun owners bad, convicted cop killers good

A group attempting to convince Americans that a National Rifle Association advertisement was a “direct endorsement of violence” wished a convicted cop killer a happy birthday this week. As unbelievable as the tone-deafness seems, this is just the latest proof that leftist gun haters are a bunch of useful idiots. | More…

Campus carry: No problems so far at UT-Austin.

University of Texas police responded to four gun-related incidents in the past 12 months, but only one — involving a photo shoot for a newspaper — can be tied to the controversial state law permitting students to carry concealed handguns in most campus buildings.

Campus carry went into effect Aug. 1, about two weeks before the fall semester opened at UT. Opponents of Senate Bill 11 feared there would be a rise in gun-related violence at the campus. | More…

Fantasy Sports Are Now Officially Legal in N.H.

Next month, for the first time, New Hampshire residents can “legally” draft players for fantasy football leagues.  Recently, Gov. Chris Sununu signed a law legalizing all fantasy sports games in the state.

Under the new law, the state will now regulate these games but it won’t make any money off them.  The law establishes that fantasy sports will not be taxed in New Hampshire.  Charlie McIntyre heads the state lottery commission and says that’s a good thing. | More…
