NH AG: Two police fired weapons, Keene man wounded

KEENE — A man was wounded Monday afternoon when two police officers fired their weapons during a confrontation Monday afternoon on Wilford Street, authorities said.

The man was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for his injuries, according to a statement from Attorney General Gordon MacDonald.

Peter Hinckley, the assistant attorney general assigned to the case, said his office hopes to identify the person who was shot on Tuesday. The police officers involved will be identified as expeditiously as possible, he said. *| More…
