Ski NH Reports Increase in Skiers Last Season

Members of Ski New Hampshire reported 2.3 million skier visits at their resorts last season, a 30 percent increase in snow sports visits from the previous winter.

A spokesman for the organization said a final tally for the 2016/17 winter season was announced at the organization’s annual conference at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort in North Conway on Monday.

Ski New Hampshire represents most ski areas in the state with the exception of Attitash, Wildcat and Crotched Mountain.

During the 2016-17 winter season, total ski resort visits for Ski NH’s 34 ski area members reached 2,357,609, which includes alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. | More…
