Two men were arrested Monday after police said they found a “one pot” methamphetamine lab in the woods off Airport Road.
Investigators said they were tipped that two people were making meth in the area. Two men, who were staying at a nearby hotel, were seen walking back and forth to a campsite allegedly with materials in a backpack for methamphetamine production, police said. More…

The commemoration of Pine Tree Riot will be on Wednesday in Weare, New Hampshire.
MANCHESTER – Americans for Prosperity – New Hampshire (AFP-NH) will hold its 2nd annual commemoration of the Pine Tree Riot. On April 13-14 of 1772, local residents rose up against the enforcement of a law that enabled the government to confiscate private property. The resulting event contributed to a course of events that began the American Revolution. AFP-NH commemorates this event and ties it to the nation’s tax day, which will be April 18 in New Hampshire.
“The Pine Tree Riot, and the subsequent treatment of those involved set the stage for the American Revolution,” said AFP-NH State Director Greg Moore. “It is an incredible piece of New Hampshire history that deserves to be highlighted and used to remind us about the importance of property rights and the willingness of citizens to protect their property from unjust laws. This is an important message to share as Americans prepare to pay their taxes.”
