Yale College Republicans Host Barbecue Right Next To Hunger Strike
Members of the Yale College Republicans hosted a barbecue Friday right next to where members of the Local 33 graduate student union participated in a hunger strike, the New Haven Register reports.
The College Republicans served a meal of barbecued beef, baked beans and corn to those on the plaza, just a few feet from the tent Local 33 had erected to house hunger strikers protesting the school’s decision not to negotiate a contract. | Daily Caller

Measles Outbreak In Minnesota – Anti-vaxxers Stike Again
It looks like the anti-vaxx chickens have come home to roost, with 32 children now suffering from measles in Minnesota. (The linked post states 28, but that number now stands at 32. I expect we’ll see more.)
While a majority of the affected children are those of Somali immigrants, it isn’t limited to just them, nor is it limited to just the US as over 1500 cases have been reported in the EU. | Weekend Pundit

North Korea fires ballistic missile in defiance of world pressure
North Korea test-fired a ballistic missile on Saturday shortly after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson warned that failure to curb Pyongyang’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs could lead to “catastrophic consequences.”

House speaker, governor not exactly chatty
HOUSE SPEAKER Shawn Jasper and Gov. Chris Sununu’s chief of staff are downplaying speculation that there is a growing rift between the two leading Republicans in the wake of a failed budget vote and the House vote against Right to Work legislation favored by the governor.
Jasper is also not keen on full-day kindergarten, one of Sununu’s legislative priorities.
