NASHUA — State Police said Friday an illegal immigrant claimed to be a resident and tried to obtain a New Hampshire driver’s license in Nashua.

Souhegan dean of students put on paid administrative leave after arrest

I wonder where he’ll spend all that paid time off?

School officials said Friday that Peter Gagnon, the dean of students at Souhegan High School who was arrested last week at a Massachusetts strip club, is on paid administrative leave.

“Mr. Gagnon remains on the payroll, and pursuant to state law, is considered an employee of the district,” Superintendent Peter Warburton said in a statement provided to the New Hampshire Union Leader. More…

N.H. Sees Rise in Wilderness Rescue Missions

Late Thursday night, New Hampshire Fish and Game Officials rescued a 53-year-old man on Mount Lincoln after they’d been searching for him for 3 days.

Trump eases ban on political activity by churches

President Trump signed an executive order Thursday making it easier for churches and other religious groups to engage in politics without endangering their tax-exempt status.
