A New Hampshire undergraduate has confirmed the presence of a fungus in the state that, over the past thirty years, has caused either extinction or massive decline in more than 200 species of frogs around the world. …

This story begins in Tasmania and Australia, where in the 1970’s and 1980’s frog populations mysteriously began to crash. Then through the 90’s into the 2000’s, the die-offs swept through Central America, causing more than 50% of the frog species in some areas to go extinct. | More…

Lisa Durden had a fiery debate with Tucker Carlson defending a gathering of Black Lives Matter devotees that banned white people, but then found that she was suspended from her teaching position at Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey. Durden blames the controversial appearance for her suspension despite she had been on other Fox News shows previous to that one.

In the combative segment TheBlaze reported previously, Durden mocked white people saying, “What I say to that is boo-hoo-hoo, you white people are angry because you couldn’t use your ‘white privilege’ card to get invited to the Black Lives Matter’s all-black Memorial Day celebration! Wow!” | More…

DOVER — A Strafford County House of Corrections officer accused of bringing drugs to inmates in the jail plans to use the defense of duress, and a well-known inmate is suing over a ban on U.S. mail, claiming it is guards and counselors who smuggle drugs into the facility.

Bryant Shipman, 25, of Rochester, was about to start his shift on March 22 when he was arrested before he was able to get into the housing unit. Officials estimate the street value of the fentanyl and cocaine he had in his possession was between $2,000 and $5,000.

Shipman started working at the jail in May of 2015, and at the time of his arraignment officials said they had known for some time drugs were being distributed to inmates. | More…

Happy “Birthday” New Hampshire

On this day 229 years ago, New Hampshire was admitted to the Union as its ninth state.

On June 21, 1788, the Granite State ratified the Constitution, becoming the ninth state to do so.

New Hampshire was one of 13 colonies that rebelled against British rule in the American Revolution, and was one of the 13 states that founded the United States of America.

Happy birthday to our beautiful state!
