Trinity College in Connecticut Closed After Prof Posts Threats to GOP Online

Following the June 14 shooting of a U.S. congressman and several other people at a baseball practice in suburban Washington, D.C., associate professor of sociology Johnny Eric Williams stated on his Facebook page, “It is past time for the racially oppressed to do what people who believe themselves to be ‘white’ will not do, put end to the vectors of their destructive mythology of whiteness and their white supremacy system. #LetThemF–ingDie.”

Senator Shaheen suddenly cares what her constituents think? Not likely

Today, New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen actually posted one of the most hypocritical and ironic memes she could possibly post in regards to the American Health Care Act (AHCA). Shaheen claims she’s heard from over 5,000 Granite Staters that oppose the legislation and she’s urging Republicans to listen to their opposition. In a huge twist of irony, Shaheen forgets the past when thousands upon thousands of her constituents demanded she vote against Obamacare.

Of course, Shaheen didn’t care then that a majority of her constituents didn’t want her to vote for a government takeover of their healthcare. Suddenly now that Republicans are in charge, Shaheen cares what her constituency thinks? This is highly unlikely. Shaheen has always voted how the Democrat Party has told her to vote no matter how many phone calls or emails she gets from her constituents.

Here is the post from her Facebook account. | More…

4 Dumbest Democratic Reactions To Their Stunning Defeat In The Georgia 6th

[Democrats have] failed to come to grips with the one simple fact that explains why Donald Trump won: Hillary Clinton was the worst candidate in the history of the republic, and the Democrats went all-in for her.

Because Democrats still can’t come to grips with that fact, they’re now applying the same outrage tactics to voters in the Georgia 6th Congressional District that they’ve applied to voters in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin since November. Never mind that the GA-6 has been Republican for four decades, and that only a bizarre confluence of events even led to the district being competitive. No, 31-year-old ne’er-do-well Jon Ossoff would have won if it weren’t for Republican bigotry.

With that in mind, here were the four most indicative Democratic responses to Ossoff’s loss to solid Republican Karen Handel. | More…

The Truth About When Life Begins

Some Democrats could care less about when an abortion happens. They’re convinced that it is not “alive” nor is it “a life” until it registers and votes Democrat.

Then there are the Americans who avoid the subject, approach it unwillingly, or concede some level of support for the practice (meaningfully or just to avoid conflict) who will tell you that they are not sure about when life begins. It’s at some arbitrary point during the pregnancy, a value subject to change based on the hostility of the company they find themselves in, but they won’t be nailed down on when. | More…

Cyanobacteria Advisory Issued For Elm Brook Park

CONCORD, NH — An elevated cyanobacteria cell concentration has been measured in Hopkinton-Everett Lake at the Elm Brook Park Beach in Hopkinton, according to the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. Samples revealed that the state threshold of 70,000 cells/ml or greater of cyanobacteria was exceeded. The cyanobacteria were identified as Anabaena and Woronichinia.

As a result, the NHDES has issued a cyanobacteria advisory at the beach area for those who recreate at Elm Brook Park Beach. The heaviest bloom areas were observed near the boat ramp and appear either as a scum on the surface or small blue-green clumps suspended in the water column. Please continue to monitor your individual shoreline for changing conditions. | More…
