Manchester’s City Solicitor Tom Clark resigns in light of domestic violence prosecutions

MANCHESTER — City Solicitor Tom Clark will retire at the end of July, Mayor Ted Gatsas announced Friday, a day after criticism surfaced of his office’s handling of domestic-related cases.

Clark, who has been city solicitor for 22 years, has asked to be removed from administrative duties, according to a joint statement by Gatsas and Aldermen Chairman Pat Long. | More…
