The Town of Tuftonboro, N.H. lost its effort to charge $0.15 per page to redact emails provided electronically. Judge Amy Ignatius in Carroll County Superior Court ruled that redacting emails electronically does not substantively change their format nor does it incur actual costs that can be charged. The town had not sought to be reimbursed for the time it takes employees to redact the emails, and they provided no evidence of other expenses. | More…

The Washington Times is reporting that President Trumps’ hiring freeze has resulted in 9,000 fewer Federal employees in the first 6-months.
Mr. Trump ordered the hiring freeze on his first day in office and embarked on the most ambitious agenda to shrink government since Ronald Reagan. His early success, although modest, is a testament to the president’s tenacity and to the daunting task he has undertaken. | More..
New Hampshire Hypocrisy: A “Drug Den” When Convenient
Officials in NH, particularly the governor, had a chance here to walk the walk, and do what they advised Lawrence Mayor Dan Rivera a few short months earlier: stop overreacting, stop playing the victim, and embrace the reality so we can solve the problem. “YES! We have become a drug den thanks to the cartels in Mexico; thank you, Mr. President, for advocating for us,” should have been the response.
Instead, self-serving officials in NH did the same stupid thing Mayor Rivera did. They circled the wagons, treated the leaked comments as an attack on poor NH, ignored the part where President Trump was trying to HELP their state and started pandering to NH voters as their superhero- defenders. | More…

NH Hempfest Documentary Released Free Online!
Last year I had the pleasure of attending and broadcasting my talk radio show, Free Talk Live, from the third annual NH Hempfest! This year it’s back, rebranded to the “NH Cannabis Freedom Festival“, again at the beautiful Roger’s Campground from August 25th-27th.
Like last year’s event, this year promises to be packed full of wall-to-wall live musical performances by some great bands. (And this year they are accepting bitcoin – get your tickets here!) If you were wondering what this excellent festival was like last year, Free Keene blogger and radio host Robert Mathias was there and spent the last year of his life putting together a feature-length documentary about it! | More…
