Yesterday, Senator Jeanne Shaheen posted a homemade video of herself talking to “constituents” in New Hampshire about the failure of the senate to pass a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. After ignoring her constituents for the past eight years, Shaheen suddenly wants them to believe she’s working for them.
In her video, she thanked the three Republican Senators who actually caused the bill’s defeat – John McCain (AZ), Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK). This is a bit ironic since the New Hampshire Democrat Party issued a statement in which Chairman Ray Buckley credited Shaheen and Senator Hassan for defeating the bill.
