The business of flying unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as drones, is soaring. In 2016, over 2,500 drones were registered in New Hampshire, the bulk of which were for recreational use.

Commercial application of drone technology could reach $127 million nationwide by 2020, according to analysts at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
