Students Visiting NH State House Know “Literally Nothing” about The American Revolution

Makes you wonder what we’re spending all that public school budget money on…

CONCORD — Visiting the state capital has been a tradition for New Hampshire schoolchildren for decades. But William Dunlap, president of the New Hampshire Historical Society, reports a dramatic change in the kids coming to visit his building in the past few years.

“Our staff has told me that we have to discontinue one of our programs that covers New Hampshire in the early days because the kids no longer know what the American Revolution was,” he said. “They don’t know we fought the British. They literally know nothing.” | More…
