Body of Hinsdale man recovered from Connecticut River

The body of a Hinsdale man was pulled from the Connecticut River Thursday evening.

The man was identified as Andrew Laffond, 29. Laffond and a friend had been walking on an abandoned railroad trestle that spans the Connecticut River between Hinsdale and Brattleboro, Vermont, on Wednesday night when Laffond fell into the river at approximately 8:15 p.m. | More…
