More than 400 UNH students attending tuition-free

No, It’s not really free. UNH is still getting ‘paid.’

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — More than 400 incoming University of New Hampshire students are attending the school tuition-free this fall.

The students, who receive federal Pell grants, are getting assistance through the Granite Guarantee program.

They are part of an incoming undergraduate class of about 3,000, up from about 2,900 last year.

The Granite Guarantee remains in place for four years, provided the student is enrolled full-time, remains Pell eligible and makes satisfactory progress toward their degree. | AP
