KEENE — A scaled-down, child-focused pumpkin festival is set to take place in Central Square on Oct. 29 from noon to 7 p.m.
The idea of bringing back the festival with a focus on the schoolchildren of SAU 29 was the brain-child of Let It Shine member Tim Zinn.
Let It Shine will run “The Keene Pumpkin Festival brought to you by the children of SAU 29,” and is responsible for the city police, fire and public works costs associated with the festival — estimated at $14,000.
