FREEMONT — Officers on a traffic detail in New Hampshire were shocked to see furry hitchhiker pass through their site.

According to Sgt. Jay Larochelle, the day was totally normal until one woman drove through his traffic detail with a couple of kayaks strapped to her roof. Larochelle said he thought something seemed off with the passing car, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.

The next car in-line flagged the officer down and frantically told him that a cat had been popping his head out of the bottom of the kayaks for some distance now. | More…
