Robert Douglas, of Atlanta, Georgia, is in Peterborough until July 3 while he is acting in the Players’ latest production, “The Whipping Man,” where he plays a recently freed slave in the immediate aftermath of the Civil War, who must deal with the return of his former master, injured from the battlefield.
Douglas said he went to the CVS several times to make purchases, including on June 6, 7 and 8. But when he went to the store again on two separate trips on June 10, a store employee called police to report suspicious behavior. | More…
