Being a New Hampshire democrat means never having to denounce anything. This only matters because the liberal-progressive whip holders who direct traffic leftward around the democrat’s rotary-of-hypocrisy like to tap the hair trigger on their own media Weapons of Mass Outrage (WMO) whenever they can manufacture the provocation. So if someone to the right of them puts together a sentence that could in any way be misinterpreted as racist, misogynist, bigoted and so on they create outrage, then pitch it to anyone who will listen.
But when it’s one of theirs no one has anything to say, including the local media whom I cannot recall claiming that “no democrat was available for comment” on the latest left wing outrage of the day.
So how about we ask? Ask both why there has been no comment and why no one has asked for any, after AlterNet had itself a picnic lunch of racist slurs that ended in calling a black man “a monkey in the window.”
I’ve met Herman Cain. I doubt he cares what AlterNet says. But those pesky hypocrats, they have these rules they like to live by, and far be it from us not to insist they live up to them. And the rule is quite clear. If you do not denounce racism, bigotry, sexism, misogyny, and so on, your silence is proof that you agree and support it.
So Suckley (Ray Buckley and Kathy “Lawsuit” Sullivan), Teri “Billion Dollar Deficit” Norelli, Maggie “No Free Speech 4U” Hassan, and all the rest of the Democrats marooned over their on Gilligan’s (political desert) island, must think it’s a fine and dandy thing to call a black man a monkey in the window. Where’s the outrage? Even false outrage would be nice considering.
Oh, I know. This is part of that “New Civility” we keep hearing about. Or is it one of the planks on the platform of that left wing run ‘bi-partisan’ No Labels crowd who is so tired of all the uncivil discourse. I think Maggie Hassan even went to New York City for the grand opening ceremony if memory serves. So is this a new Label for No Labels Hassan?
This former State Senator still probably wants to be the next Jeanne Shaheen/Governor of New Hampshire some day. Maggie Hassan, are you OK with the Monkey in the Window remark made on a prominent left wing web site about a great guy whom I have met and interviewed and who just happens to be a black conservative? If so, may I suggest the curious George window sticker above? That would make a great image for your campaign. And it would remind us all of the silent hypocrisy embedded in the culture–nay, the very fabric of the New Hampshire Democrat party. (George is silent too)
