‘Anonymous Tip’ Leads To Capture Of Fugitive Sex Offender From NH

CONCORD, NH — Another New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week was captured this weekend due to a tip from the public, according to Brandon Wilson of the U.S. Marshals Service. Christopher Michael Smith, 45, was arrested without incident by members of the Nashua Police Department on Aug. 12, 2017, on an outstanding arrest warrant for a sex offender registration violation and sales of a controlled drug-methamphetamine. Smith, according to Wilson, was arrested on Hollis Street after police received an “anonymous tip” that he was taking at a home there.
