President Elect Barack Obama called an early morning press conference this morning to announce his plans to run for re-election in 2012.

While the campaign could “take him away from the oval office more often that he’d like,” he expects to be able to make himself available for any important matters that come up while he is out on the campaign trail.

*In all seriousness–congratulations to Mr. Obama, Ms. Shaheen, and both State reps Hodes, and Shea-Porter.  While I am at odds with you on many things, (most things) you have earned a shot (or another shot)at governance, and I respect the authority of the people to provide you that opportunity.  

It will continue to be my job, and that of many others, to observe your actions, comment on your antics, and to hold you accountable to the things you promised, the things you did, and the things you didn’t do–that, hopefully, will never change.
