If you think we need change, how about a new Governor?

I can see Beacon Hill from here!

I can see Beacon Hill from here!

[UPDATED]

There’s the New Hampshire way, and then there is John Lynch’s way.

John Lynch is leading New Hampshire in the wrong direction.  Our State government has a spending addiction that he can’t or wont stop.  Our Democrat legislature is growing State government and no one is standing in their way.  He has abandoned his own positions, given up the beach on school funding, and is letting the legislature have nearly anything they ask for.  Even the most complacent among us must understand that what New Hampshire does not need during a national economic downturn is a swollen State government that just keeps getting bigger.  John Lynch either doesn’t see it that way, or he just doesn’t see it.

His excellency could have stopped the free-fall early on, but he hasn’t had the sense to stop his own parties spending ways. So at the last minute he tried to stuff the budget hole full of State bonds whose values have declined for the very reason he needs to sell more of them.  Poor fiscal planning.  Is that good government?  Is that the New Hampshire way?  Not the New Hampshire I want to live in.

There is a solution…

If I’m not mistaken quite a few people have moved here from Massachusetts and other parts of New England, to escape the over regulation and oppressive tax structures of those states.  I moved here myself from New York almost 20 years ago for the same reason.  But if you don’t vote like every nickel and dime matters, it doesn’t take long before the government you elected has nickled and dimed you right back where you came from.

We need to take a serious look at the path John Lynch has placed us on, because it leads directly to Mass-ification.  That means more regulation, and the taxes that regulation feeds on.  More taxes means less money in your pocket.  Wouldn’t you like to keep more of the money you work for?

This year we have an alternative and if you really care about the New Hampshire advantage, the one that drew you here or kept you here, take some time and listen to this interview.   Joe Kenney is running to bring leadership and the New Hampshire advantage back to the State.  He wants to be our next governor.  If you don’t have time for all of it, at least listen to some of it.  Your wallet will thank you.

[UPDATED] CNHT has cuts of the interview to make it easy for those just seeking to hear Joe.

There is no guarantee that this election cycle will bring a two party balance back into the legislature.  If it doesn’t the only hope we’ll have to stop the Democrats from spending us to Massachusetts and back is a Republican governor.  Don’t just vote for a political party, vote for New Hampshire fiscal values.  Vote for energy initiatives that actually make sense for New Hampshire instead of making electricity more expensive.  Vote for a business environment that attracts new business instead of making them consider other options.  Vote for growth in New Hampshire; let the other New England states suffer through some economic flat spot without us.  Vote for someone who knows what the New Hampshire advantage is.

If it’s really time for a change, It’s definitely time for change in New Hampshire–Joe Kenney for Governor.

Disclosure:  I am not part of the Kenney campaign, and have not made any contributions to his campaign as of this writing.  I support Joe Kenney’s vision for New Hampshire.  If you can’t see it from where you are, you need to find a better seat.

Part II on the site has some other junk on it. The 30-minute Part II is just Joe doing the first half of the second hour..

I listened to it all. Good show. My post references the Kenney portion of part two as the first 30 minutes. I hope that makes it clear enough.
